We may be in the height of awards season – but forget about rolling out the red carpet for your Brits and Oscars, because right now it’s all about the DBA Awards!
If you’ve been following the sucess of Calm Harm, you’ll know that the app we created with mental health charity stem4 to help teenagers resist or manage the urge to self-harm is already a multi-award winner. We’re absolutely over the moon to announce that it has now also been shortlisted for a prestigious DBA Design Effectiveness Award!
The DBA Design Effectiveness Awards are about the difference design makes, and are internationally recognised for the quality and strength of evidence the winners must provide to support their case for design effectiveness. Coveted Bronze, Silver and Gold awards recognise the compelling influence of design on the success of a project or business. A panel of judges, consisting of CEOs from FTSE100 and some of the UK’s leading brands, will meet in April to additionally select the winner of the prestigious Grand Prix award.
As one of 58 shortlisted entries, we will find out whether Calm Harm has won Gold, Silver or Bronze at the award ceremony and dinner at the Royal Horticultural Halls on the 12th of June.
