Our wonderful client Digibete has been selected as one of the finalists in the National Lottery’s ‘The People’s Projects’ campaign in conjunction with ITV!

One of 95 projects shortlisted across the UK (with only five shortlisted in the Calendar North region), The ‘Take Care of Me: My Life With Type 1 Diabetes’ campaign by Digibete has been selected to be in with the chance of receiving funding of up to £50,000 which would be an amazing boost to this Leeds-based organisation.

The DigiBete Team are focused and dedicated to creating resources to help people and families self-manage their Type 1 Diabetes. They extend NHS services so that there is a 24/7 facility for everyone needing Type 1 guidance and training. With their wide variety of experience and expertise, they are a dynamic and agile team continually working to provide digital and video support services for the Type 1 community.

Since 2005, the partnership between The National Lottery Community Fund, The National Lottery, ITV and STV has given the public a say in how funding should be put to good use in their local area. The People’s Projects has awarded around £42 million to 960 good causes across the UK since it started in 2005.

Voting is now open and there are just 13 days left to vote, so make sure you head straight to the National Lottery’s People’s Projects website and search for ‘Digibete’ to cast your vote now!

Good luck Digibete!
