The year 1996 saw a lot. Microsoft released ActiveSync for desktop computers and mobile devices, Nintendo released their newest gaming system Nintendo 64, Internet Explorer 3 web browser was released and the world said goodbye to VHS and adopted a new technology for watching videos, the DVD.

Tech has come a long way since then, and this month, award-winning digital agency and 90’s child, HMA is delighted to be celebrating its 25th anniversary.

Moving with the times, HMA has achieved a significant amount over the past 25 years and is continuing to expand its team and expertise. HMA’s longevity comes from its agility and flexibility to provide a full service to its clients, bringing passion and creativity to the delivery of innovative in sometimes complex solutions for its healthcare, science and technology clients.

Managing Director Nicola Tiffiany said; “Over the past 25 years, HMA has brought design and digital innovations to market at pace and scale because of our substantial experience and knowledge of the industries we operate within.

“There’s no doubt that our fantastic team has been instrumental in our success; each individual gives their absolute all to our projects and the clients we represent. I love working alongside such a talented group of people, who each day inspire me with their passion and willingness to go the extra mile.

“In addition to our fantastic team, we obviously wouldn’t be anywhere without our wonderful clients who we enjoy working alongside, acting as extensions of their teams daily. Despite the challenges that everyone has faced over the last year, we have continued to work collaboratively (and remotely!) with clients to deliver several large scale projects including the creation of life-changing digital technology to support mental health and cancer care amongst others. Working in the health, science and tech sectors gives us a social purpose and we are incredibly proud of what we’ve produced over the years.

To safely celebrate the 25-year milestone, the HMA team is taking part in activities equaling the distance of 25 marathons during June, to reach a combined total of 655 miles. Already off to a flying start, each team member is recording their runs, walks, cycles swims and even climbs! For every 1 mile completed HMA will be donating £1 to support people just starting their careers in the design industry. We look forward to updating our clients and stakeholders on the activity and sharing the results in due course.
