We’re delighted to announce that last week, HMA received continued certification for ISO 9001:2015.

ISO 9001:2015 is an internationally recognised quality management system standard and in order to achieve the certification, companies must demonstrate that they have implemented a comprehensive quality management system that addresses all areas of operations including a strong customer focus, internal staff, processes and continual improvement.

Checking that the Quality Management System works is a key component of ISO 9001:2015 and internal audits are required are on a regular basis to monitor and improve the system. Every year we are audited externally, and re-certification takes place every three years. The scope of this year’s assessment was to determine that our Quality Management System demonstrates the ability to consistently provide a service that meets client and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements whilst enhancing customer satisfaction through the effective application of the system/processes through continual improvement.

The assessment found that our quality management system continues to be effective and compliant with the ISO9001:2015 standard. Our report states that “Good practice was observed in a number of areas in line with the strategic direction of the business” and that “All staff involved in the audit were engaged”.
