HMA is delighted to have been shortlisted in this year’s Medilink Yorkshire and Humber Awards in the Outstanding Achievement category.
Our award entry focused on the company’s strategic move into science and healthcare, and winning clients such as 3M Healthcare, Novozymes Biopharma, UK Trade & Investment and the University of Sheffield.
The impact on business growth has been substantial and is reflected in creative industry recognition, including a listing in Prolific North’s top 50 digital agencies in the North of England, coming top in South Yorkshire.
The move into science and healthcare has also inspired a new partnership-based business model in digital healthcare, focused on the user-centred design and development of mobile healthcare apps, which has secured significant funding and an award with collaborative partners, the Centre for Assistive Technology and Connected Healthcare at the University of Sheffield.
We have just under six weeks to wait until the winners are announced at the Medilink Awards, taking place on the evening of December 11 at Sheffield City Hall as part of Medilink’s inaugural Winter Ball.
The annual Awards is the premier networking event in the healthcare technology calendar, bringing together leading business representatives, clinicians and researchers from across the sector.
The winners will be announced by England Rugby Union legend Brian Moore. Brian gained 64 Caps and was part of an England team that won 3 Grand Slams and in 1991 was voted Whitbread Rugby World Player of the Year. Brian is now a leading sports broadcaster and author.
The five winners of the awards will go on to represent Yorkshire and Humber at the prestigious national Medilink UK Awards, which take place at the MedTech Innovation Expo, Ricoh Arena, Coventry, on 29 April 2015.
