HMA is delighted to welcome new client Lavender International, an established family firm headquartered in Penistone, South Yorkshire. The company specialises in training, examinations, and consultancy services covering all major Non Destructive Testing (NDT) methods.
NDT is the testing of metals and materials for flaws and defects without causing the item under inspection any harm. NDT is used in industry throughout the world using techniques such as magnetism; dyes and ultrasound – typical examples where NDT would be used are aerospace; transport; leisure; ship building; power; pipelines; oil and gas and so on.
To support Lavender’s growth plans and future developments, HMA was selected to design and develop a new website that will give the firm an international presence and position itself as the number one choice for NDT training and consultancy services. As well as the UK training sites, courses are now offered in Houston, USA and Perth, Australia.
In addition to providing visitors with information and guidance on NDT, the objective of the website will be to bring business efficiencies to Lavender, understanding the customer journey to provide visitors with clear and easy to find information about its courses and how to book, as well as an online shop promoting relevant training materials that will support course attendees in their learning.
The new website will be optimised for search engines and fully responsive to deliver a seamless user experience across all devices.
Lavender International recently got fully involved in the Tour de France, including yellow bikes around the site and the big ‘t-shirt’ banner featured right.
