HMA has worked with Ashley Wilde for over 8 years and we’re excited to launch our latest project with the Hertfordshire-based textile design company; its new website redesign –

The Ashley Wilde Group was established in 1950 and has grown steadily into one of the market leaders in soft furnishings worldwide. A third generation family business with a strong heritage in the textiles industry, Ashley Wilde is committed to delivering customers outstanding design and service.

After catching up with the Ashley Wilde team earlier this year, it was clear that there was an opportunity to bring both the design and technology of the Ashley Wilde website in line with current trends and best practice standards. The old website’s functionality was slowly becoming increasingly restrictive and at the time, had no way to showcase photography and flatshots.

A much more visual, image-led and striking concept was required to reflect creativity of the team at Ashley Wilde and the work they produce; utilising grey and black tones to offset the great imagery available whilst revitalising the static nature of its current content; this also included incorporating social media integration across the site, providing website visitors the most up to date news from the Ashley Wilde team.

The end result is a design-led website which puts great photography centre stage, incorporating large hero images across the site, as well as an improved, streamlined visual layout of products within its brand portfolio, contemporary collections and swatches. The website also includes high res image magnifying functionality allowing website users the ability to view each product image in great detail.

As well as reflecting Ashley Wilde’s creativity, the new website has created efficiencies internally with an easy to use and intuitively designed content management system.

HMA is also working to redevelop the Kai Distribution website, part of the Ashley Wilde Group, due to launch this month.
