The ability to segment and manage content for specific membership types and a new intuitive interface are two of the improvements made to the new BHBIA (British Healthcare Business Intelligence Association) member management system, designed and developed by HMA.

The BHBIA is a business intelligence organisation that provides resources, online training, certification and events for professionals working in the healthcare intelligence market.  HMA originally developed the BHBIA’s previous system in 2010, but with nearly 10,000 active users of the website there was an increasing need to be able to manage their members’ requirements more efficiently.

HMA were commissioned to develop the system in a new technology stack with a huge suite of new functionality to ease the administration of the membership management and enable users to manage their own accounts and book events, webinars and training online.

Originally developed in .Net the system was redeveloped in Laravelle using a bespoke Statamic Content Management integration.

Feedback from users has been very positive and BHBIA members have commented on how the new website is clean, modern and easy to navigate.  They say it will help business intelligence professionals to access key resources and register for training and events more efficiently.
