You probably noticed as you’re on it now!
As well as giving the site a whole new look and feel, it’s packed full of the latest information on our comprehensive list of services, case studies, testimonials and lots more.
Emily and Gregg, the experts behind this project, explain the approach we took for the re-design and development:
“After much debate about which Open-Source CMS we should use between both developers and designers, we settled on WordPress.
Our developers were very happy with the choice as it is quick to pick up and has a very large and active community behind it.
Design isn’t restricted and we have full control over layout and functionality. We managed to turn an initial prototype to near final code in a few weeks.”
As the majority of our website’s visitors use desktop browsers, the design kept this in mind and followed to the front end where we took a more “adaptive approach”, responding to various screen sizes instead of being a completely fluid layout.
The home page is on its way to having a parallax layer effect, along with animation and we will be revealing this in the next few weeks.
We’d love to hear your thoughts!
Your feedback is important to us and we’d love to hear what you think of our new website (good and bad!) Any feedback received before 11th October will be entered into a prize draw to win a Kindle Fire HD tablet!
