Animation to explain to investors and stakeholders how molecular stability had been achieved.
Evgen is a UK-based biopharmaceutical company that is taking a novel approach to developing a new anti-cancer drug. The active component is sulforaphane which has its effects through modulating multiple cancer-related pathways in the body. However sulforaphane on its own is very unstable so Evgen are developing ways to address this.
Evgen Pharma needed a visual tool to help explain its technology to investors and other stakeholders.
HMA worked closely with the Evgen team to outline the animation as a storyboard before using computer graphics to bring the story alive in 3D. We used accurate molecular structures from biomedical databases to ensure the animation was scientifically correct. Text and graphic overlays and music were also applied.
Evgen has used the animation multiple times in meetings and presentations, as well as over 545 views on YouTube, and has found it very helpful in explaining the technology. A key part of it shows how sulforaphane can be stabilised for use as a therapeutic drug, Sulforadex®. The first target disease will be early stage prostate cancer.
Based on the success of the animation, Evgen came to HMA to create a brand identity, website and digital marketing materials to provide them with a more professional look on their journey to join the AIM Market on the London Stock Exchange.
The company has now gone on to secure additional funding for first-in-man clinical trials, they are certainly one to watch!
