We’re pleased to announce that for the third time, HMA has received recertification for ISO 9001:2015!
Due to the current COVID-19 situation, this BSI audit had to take place remotely – we were able to screen share to show documentation and talk through audit trails for evidence of compliance.
We’ve now held the accreditation for nine years, with this being our third recertification audit. Every three years we go through a recertification audit, where our whole quality management system and its effectiveness gets reviewed. Then, every year in between these recertification audits we have surveillance audits for continued certification to ensure we’re maintaining ISO 9001:2015.Our auditor this year was particularly impressed with the “linkages made between the quality objectives, the management of risk and action plans”.
ISO 9001:2015 is an internationally recognised quality management system standard and in order to achieve the certification, companies must demonstrate that they have implemented a comprehensive quality management system that addresses all areas of operations including a strong customer focus, internal staff, processes and continual improvement.
